If your will was written and executed properly the first time, then your will is still effective in the new state. However, the laws in your new state may affect how your estate plan should be structured. For example, some states have an estate tax, and some do not. Also, it is a good idea to review your entire estate plan every few years, especially if there are new people in your life who you want to provide for or new assets that you want to disribute in specific ways.
