If Iamsuing for return of a security deposit,is the defendant named on petition the owner, the apartments, or the property management company?

The leasing office didn’t list my pet deposit of $500 or account for what it was used for. The property management failed to fix it when I told them told me it was refundable I didn’t get it back. I called them later asked them what the pet deposit was for; what was it used for. They told me it was used for damages and repairs. But they didn’t use it towards anything. They didn’t even list it . Should I name the defendants all 3?

You should name all three as defendants and DOES 1 through 10, Inclusive.  DOES are fictitious persons to include in the caption to be certain you didn't omit any defendants.
