No, you can not use a music artist's song in a commercial, homemade or otherwise, to promote your product. That would be stealing from the composer of the song and the company that paid to publish it. This is assuming that the song is not so old that the copyright has not fallen into the public domain. In order to use the song, you will have to contact the publisher and get permission. There will probably be a fee associated with obtaining this permission, or it may be refused. But you can not legally use the song without the permission of the publisher.
