Most likely you will not be able to have a prior robbery conviction expunged simply because new state regulations were passed after the conviction regarding yourself. However, given the passage of time since your conviction and depending upon whether it was a felony or misdemeanor conviction as well as other factors, you might consider consulting with a criminal defense attorney as to whether there is a chance that the conviction has a chance to be expunged.

Factors for an expungement are that the convicted person has had no subsequent problems with the law, has been a good citizen in the community and does community service work.

Good luck.
