If the cops entered my house without a search warrant or consent and found pot on the floor and they arrested me, is that illegal?

After I came back to house when released household items were stolen and they had taken 2 cases of beer and smoked pot in the house.

Yoi certainly have a lot of issues going on here and I would contact a criminal attorney in your area to discuss them.  The police must have probably cause to enter if they do not have consent or a search wrrant.  The circumstances surrounding their entry are key.
