Under federal law, if your rental is foreclosed upon, you are entitled to at least 90 days to vacate if the rental is a month-to-month rental from the new owner assuming you are current on your rent. If you have a term lease, you are allowed to remain in the unit until the term ends assuming you are current in the rent.
If the new landlord wants you to enter into a new lease and you are willing to do so, that is allowed.
