My ex is the sole legal guardian and custodian of our 11-year old child. Our child with several others was recently involved in a fight at school.

The parents of the hurt child hare taking civil action against all the parents of those involved along with the school principal, the B.O.E. and others. Am I legally liable in this case?

No, because your ex, as the sole legal guardian and custodian of your child, has the parental responsibilities for your child. Since you are not responsible for your child's actions, you should not be liable.
