If I sent my laptop for repair tothe manufacturer and they lost it, what should I do?
I recently sent my laptop for repair. Today, I got a call from them saying that they have lost my laptop. It had very important data, which was essential. Can I know what kind of legal options are available to me? I have a tracking number that proves that my laptop has reached their facility.

They are required to replace your laptop. This is why it is essential to back up your laptop or computer with an external hard drive, so in case anything happens to your computer, you have the option to fix it without losing the material on the laptop initially. At this point, try to work with them in replacing the laptop or paying you sufficient sums to obtain a new laptop.
