If you are a minor - and at 17 you are still a minor - then your Mother has the right to call the cops to bring you home. Parents worry and staying out all night could mean that something happened to you. And if she thinks that where you are and who you are with could lead to trouble then yes, she can ask that you be brought home. Good luck.
