How can I find out if my soon-to-be ex-husband has a workmer’s comp settlement in the works?

He fell off of an excavator at the job site. He was injured had operation. He has been on workmer’s comp every since claiming not able to return to work even though his sergeant had cleared him to return.

If he filed Worker's comp claim then you can probably go to Worker Comp Court. I attach the url for the court in San Francisco, CA as reference-http://www.dir.ca.gov/wcab/wcab_offices.htm.

It is public record and you can look at the file. 

I think your underlying concern is his intention to not return to work to avoid some obligation. If it is so, I advise you to communicate it to your divorce attorney. He can help you obtain information by way of discovery (written request for information or documents or both) as well as help you go to court and get a court order which orders him to return to work (subject to his medical condition).
