If you owe the money on your credit card that is claimed unpaid and can make monthly payment, the best course of action to save time and money is to try and work out a written agreement with your credit card company.

If the credit card company does not want to work out an agreement with you for monthly payments, then you either answer the complaint and defend yourself as to the claims for money owed, or do nothing and end up most likely with a default judgment against you and having to deal with collection efforts by the judgment creditor.

It is always best to try and work out an agreeable resolution to the claims where you can make monthly payments to pay down the debt on terms agreed by all.

Good luck.
