If my grandfather passed away about 9 months ago and I was named in his Will, what happens if I now file for bankruptcy?
Do I have to disclose this or does the 180 day rule apply?

I am so sorry for your loss. This is a Chapter 7, correct? The 180 day rule can be confusing and the key is when you became entitled to receive the inheritance. This date is usually the day the person leaving you the inheritance passes away and not the day you actually collect the inheritance, which can be months later. Double check about state bankruptcy laws with your attorney.
