Yes, but be sure that you have and can show a good reason for your appeal.  Sentences are generally appealed because the defendant thinks the sentence is to harsh for the crime, or because the defendant believes the sentence is too harsh for the crime, or because the sentence is outside the legal limit for the crime.   There are other reasons to do so, and your best bet is to consult with an criminal lawyer.
