Can my husband press charges against me for using his credit card and signing his name?

I opened a credit card in my husbands name several years ago and now he is wanting to press chargeable against me for doing so. He knew about it, however now that it has gone to collections he says he didn’t know about it.

Okay.  Who signed the originnal application for the credit card?  Was it you?  Or was it him?  If you signed it and he is now denying knowledge he will have to call the police and press charges against you.  If he signed it then he will have to call the police and claim unauthorized use.  Can he press charges?  Yes, he can.  Can you prove that it was done with his knowledge and consent and that the charges benefited you both?  Probably.  If he is playing this game with you I would speak to an attorney.  Good luck.
