Can an employee be asked to continue doing their job assignments from their supervisor after they were suspended, pending investigation?
This is exactly what my supervisor asked me to do. When I reminded them that she just suspended me, pending investigation, and that they would have to send another driver to complete my assignment, she told me to complete it and call when I was done. Doesn’t this act negate the suspension?

It does "negate" the suspension in way except the following: for whatever work you do, you must be paid either your salary for that day or your hourly wage for the hours you work; however, that does not mean that you can't be suspended as soon as you're done with that task or assignment, that a record of the suspension is removed from your personnel file, or that the suspension does not exist or did not occur.
