Can my parole office find out if I go out of town on an airline?
Have 1 month left on parole. Ask my parole officer if I can go out of state and she said no because I violated last month picklng up a class C misdemeanor. Howeer, mytickets are non-refundable

If you're not arrested and your picture doesn't show up on Facebook or the news, then there's a good chance that your parole officer may never know.... however, there is this theory of fate called "Murphy's law". If the airport security decides to ID you or ask you more questions, they could run your history, learn that you are on parole, and then make that one phone call that trips your parole-- a call to your PO to see if you have permission to leave the state. If you only have one month left on your parole, seriously consider eating the expense of the tickets. Unfortunately, many defendants travel without permission and never get caught. The question is whether you are ready to risk your freedom-- not whether your PO will fild out.
