What to do if I filed a claim because a hail storm caused extensive damage to 2 sides of my house but the siding on it is no longer manufactured?

My homeowner’s insurance company is standing strong saying they will only pay to replace the damaged siding with a close match. I will have a 2 toned house!! Can they do this?

Yes, they can do this. The insurer's obligation is NOT to do what is either practically impossible or unreasonably expensive, but only to repair the damage to the closet reasonable or practicable match. If the siding is no longer manufactured, they can't match it perfectly, but as long as they get the closest reasonable or practical match, they have done their duty.
