Arrested for DUI in VA. I was driving a commercial motor vehicle. I live in TX. If a warrant is issued in VA. Can TX arrest me here or can VA get me

I suppose multiple warrants will be issued. The DUI is a first offense and is a class A misdemeanor, I think. I cannot make court tomorrow which is to plead guilty/notguilty, I suppose, because i have not done this yet. I spent 12 days in jail and was released on 2500.00 unsecured bond.

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area.  I suggest that you resolve the DUI in VA ortherwise it will come back to haunt you in TX.  If you do not deal with  this in VA what will happen is that the nextr time you get pulled over in TX and the police punch your name into the computer, they will see the outstanding warrant and extradict you back to VA where you will have to face the charges before releasing you.  I suggest hiring a lawyer in VA to appear for you and get you through that matter.
