Can an employer reduce pre-approved vacation time?

I requested a period of vacation from my employer which was approved. Later I was told that a mistake was made and my vacation time was cut by one day. Are they allowed to do that to me? It was approved and then they went back on their word. Is that allowed?

If you have accrued vacation time that you have earned from your employer he or she cannot take away what you have earned without actual compensation under the laws of all states in this country. I suggest that you consult with a labor law attorney about the matter you have written about for assistance.
