What doI do ifI purchased a puppy online and the owner will not give it to me?
I purchased a puppy from an eBay classified ad. I sent $100 to the seller. The seller lives 4 hours away and will not meet me halfway to give me the puppy. She will not give me my money back or the puppy. I tried to get a hold of her but she blocked my number and says that she will press harassment charges. I am 18 years old and do not know anything about this and need advice.

You are being taken advantage of here. You should start by contacting eBay and advising them of the scam. They have their own protections on the site depending on how you paid for it. They are also a very reputable company and do not want scammers on their site. Next, contact your state Attorney General's office consumer fraud division and speak with someone about filing a complaint and what they can do to help you. If they can not then they will point you in the right direction I am sure. Is she a breeder or a private seller? There are most likely state laws that deal with the sale of live animals and the state attorney general's office may be able to let you know if contacting your local state agency that regulates transporting animals as well. And small claims court is always an option. Good luck.
