How can I get my last paycheck from my former employer?

My ex-employer refuses to give me my last check and since I been let got it’s been 2 pay periods. I have asked him many of times and he always tells me that he will bring it to my house but never does. I have even asked him if he wants to meet somewhere but he never responds. I’m very upset right now about that check, I need it. What do I do next?

You can sue your ex-employer in small claims court and/or file a complaint with your state's department of labor. Just know that unlike most other states, GA does not have specific laws as to when a final paycheck must be paid to an employee.  However, making them wait past 2 pay periods would probably be deemed unreasonable.
