Can I sue a repair shop for neglect to my vehicle?
I purchased a transmission rebuild which came with warranty. Less than 1yr later,
transmission gives issues. I take it in for repair and they hold the vehicle for
upwards to a month. Once I received the vehicle back into custody I found several
items missing out of the vehicle. On top of that, I notice transmission rattle
when turning left. Even more, I found that a hose located near transmission has
not be properly secured and is now torn.

Yes, someone who negligently (carelessly) damages your vehicle, including by not properly doing repairs which they were hired to do (and represented or claimed they could do) may be sued for the damage they do (such as for the cost to set things right). You could sue them based in negligent damage to your property, breach of contract (not making the repairs they agreed to make), and possibly fraud, if you believe they lied about their ability to or intention of making the repairs.
