Can I sue a business that damage my appliances?

A pest control company came to my house to do some work. I asked them if I should cover up anything and they told me no,that they had it. However, lo and behold, they messed up my voice machine and my dryer. What can I do? I’ve been asking for them to fix it they want to paint it but my husband says no why didn’t they just cover it up.

You can sue the pest control company for negligence.  Negligence is the failure to exercise due care (that degree of care that a reasonable pest control company would have exercised under the same or similar circumstances to prevent foreseeable harm).
Your damages (monetary compensation you are seeking in your lawsuit) would be the cost of repairs to your appliances.
You may be able to file your lawsuit in small claims court.  Upon prevailing in the case, you can also recover court costs which include the court filing fee and process server fee.
