Can I get my job back?

I got terminated last week for temporarily closing store due to short staff. One emplyee closed one night before I did for no reason. It just so happened, that employee if a close friend of the person in charge yet she still has her job but I got fired. 2 more employees closed the store, including me but I was the only 1 that was terminated.

Unless this action violated  company policy, or the termsof an employment contract or union agreement, it was legal. Also, your treatment must not have constitued  some form of legally actionable discrimination. Thismeans that you were treated differently due to your nationality, race, religion, age (over 40), disability, gender or the like. If not, then again, your termination was legal. The fact is that not all employees need be treated the same or even fairly. Bottom line, in an at will employment relationship, an employee can be fired for any reason or no reason at all.
