What is the age of Sexual Consent in Kansas?

Is it a crime for a person over the age of 18 say 30 to have sex with a person age 17 in Kansas?

In KS, the legal "age of consent" for sexual contact is 16 years old. This means that the law deems any person age 16 or older, as able to lawfully give their consent to any sexual acts. There are a total of 31 states that have set their age of consent at 16, the lowest age of consent in any state.
