If my father left me a piece of land in his Will, how do I go about receiving it and getting it in my name?

You will have to file a petition into probate ourt and follow the law on all requirements, ie appraisal of the land by the probate referee),  and fill out a lot of forms with some court hearings. suggest you obtain probate counsel to assist you.
