If my oldest brother and myself are to inherit our mother’s property and 2 of our siblings are OK with it but one wants to fight to split it 5 ways, what is the best way to handle things?

Were thinking of just buying her half.

Has your Mother already passed and is this the way the Will reads?  If your sister wants to contest the Will then it could get costly especially if she has grounds.  Settling is always a good option but you need to discuss this with an attorney in the area who can look at all the facts here.  Good luck.
