If I was caught shoplifting for the amount of $30 and was given a court date to appear in front of a judge, since Imissed the court date what do I do and what will happen?

Since there is a missed court date by you, most likely there is a bench warrant issued for your arrest. As such, you need to clear the bench warrant and get a new court date set to try and resolve the matter that you are involved in.
