If I would like to enter the US more than 30 days before the starting date in the I-20 to visit my wife who is staying there and have both B1/B2 and F1 visa, is this possible?

It should be fine if you already have a valid visa with which to enter the US as long as you also provide evidence of your need to travel and be ready to support your statement with documentation at the port of entry, if asked.
