A collections agency can still garnish your wages even though your house has been foreclosed on. A foreclosure does not eradicate a prior debt associated with a delinquent mortgage. In some cases where there has been a foreclosure, the mortgage company may forgive the prior debt, but I'm not certain if this applies to your situation.
