First, check your contract for services that the chiropractor had you sign when you first visited his office. If it requires arbitration to settle any disputes, then you will have to go through arbitration instead of a court of law to settle your dispute. This has become more common with medical providers.
If there is no arbitration requirement, and the amount the chiropractor owes you is $7500 or less, you can sue him in small claims court without an attorney.
