Life Annuity Business: Fireman’s Fund sells Life Insurance underwritten by its affiliate, Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America.
Auto Business: Fireman’s Fund sells coverage for Automobiles which allows for protection across borders; choosing a temporary vehicle, your own body shop, and a towing preference.
Homeowners Business: Fireman’s Fund sells coverage for Homes, Condos and Prestige Properties.
Special Business: Fireman’s Fund insures Private Events, Travel, Valuables, Yachts and Watercraft, and offers a full spectrum of business-related protection.
They were a little slow in responding bit it was after a blizzard that involved the entire East coast. They covered all my costs without any complaints. The policy is a little bit more expensive than others but Firemanss Fund does offer full replacement.

Fireman’s Fund has been considered a premier company for many years. We had filed a claim back in 2008 and they handled the claim flawlessly. Very professional and very timely. The problem has come in this year 2015, when they sold the division to ACE another insurance co, however FF is still processing the claims with Ace’s people. Now they are the complete opposite. Very unresponsive, took two weeks to hear from a agent after repeat calls. Has taken two plus months to get a denial of coverage. Pertinent “facts” have been ignored causing a decision for “non coverage”. As a result we have a large “structural” very expensive home repair that has continued to be denied.
