CanI break my 6 month lease if I feel that the enviroment is unsafe for me as well as my 1 year old child?
The other roommate is doing drugs and I feel as if it would be best to remove my elf and daughter from the house. I notified the landlord and the roommate was only given a warning.

Unless your written lease agreement contains a provision within it allowing you to terminate your lease with the landlord in the event of unsafe living conditions resulting from what your roommate is doing as you have written, you unfortunately have no legal or contractual basis to end your lease without recourse with your landlord if you still have time remaining on it.
I suggest that you continually keep your landlord advised as to the drug issue concerning your roommate orally and in writing keeping a copy of the letters for future need. Possibly your landlord could terminate the lease of the roommate who is causing the problems that you are writing about. If so, that would resolve the problem for you.
