Can an office Controller turn over payroll to another employee without disclosing that this was done?
The Controller of our office turned over the payroll processing to the bookkeeper without letting other employees know other than the GM. The bookkeeper now has access to our salary and all related personal information I asked if this was the case. I feel that this is a violation of privacy. I am in PA.

There is no legal prohibition against this. Workers have no right to privacy regarding their salary and related personal information, absent an employment contract or union agreement to the contrary. The fact is that a company can pretty much set the condtions of the workplace as it sees fit.
