If was involved in a minor accident but the police officer put the wrong make of car on the ticket, is this grounds to have the case dismissed?

The license plate is listed correctly.

No it is not, minor mistakes such as this happen all of the time. The fact is that it is not a critical factor in the determination of fault in the accident.
