does my x employer have to pay me my vacation pay i didnt get to take before being fired?

i just got fired and i had 2 weeks vacation time coming to me. i worked there for 13 years. i also had 1 week sick time i didnt take

Probably not.  I'm not a Virginia lawyer, but my research suggests that, like most states, unless you work for the government or have a contract, the law doesn't require this.
