How canI enforce the items of a divorce settlement agreement?
My now ex-wife and I were divorced 8 months ago. A settlement agreement was done and agreed to by us both and submitted and stamped final by courts. Now there are items that is in the agreement that she refuses to hand over.

I am so sorry for your situation. You have a few options here. The settlement agreement is a contract and the rights and liabilities of the parties are stated there in. If she is refusing to hand over items listed in the contract you can sue her based upon the terms and for performance of the contract. You can also sue her for contempt, as the agreement was, I am sure, incorporated by reference in the court's order. And failing to comply with the court's order is contempt of court. Judge's do not like it when people disobey their orders and it could be quite an ordeal for her. Good luck to you.
