Will my mother lose her home if she goes into a nursing home?

She owns one third of the home. It is also in my brother and my name which was done about 10 years ago.

Possibly your mother could lose her ownership interests in the nursing home that you have writte about if she cannot pay for her care at the facility. In order to prevent such from happening an estate planning attorney should be consulted by your mother. One in your locality can be found on attorneypages.com.
