The Social Security Administration has a website that you will find to be of help:

http://www.socialsecurity.gov/forms/ssa-2.html

If you qualify, you can collect on your ex-spouse's record. In order to be eligible, you must: have been married to your ex-spouse for10 or more  years; be 62 years old or older; be currently unmarried; and not eligible for an equal or higher benefit on your own or someone else's Social Security record.
