WillIbe extradited for a DWAI probation?

I got a DWAI in another state and was given probation. If I violate my probation and go back to my home state and get stopped by police, will they hold me and will I be extradited me?

If you were convicted of a driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance orm plead out to a charge as to this and were given probation, you need to carefully read the terms of your probation to see if your are allowed to go to your home state or not in that your probation agreement sets forth the terms and obligations of the offense that you write about.

To be sure as to what the terms of your probation specifically require, you should contact your probation officer as to your intent to back to your home state and if such is allowed or not. If you violate the terms of your probation and are stopped by law enforcement in another state, most likely you will not be jailed.

Good luck.
