Will getting married effect my Chapter 7 bankruptcy?
I have not had my creditors meeting yet. We did not live together or have any common interest.

Getting married may or may not affect your bankruptcy. You can still file on your own and go through the process without putting his name on anything. The impact will be on the means test and income available parts of the bankruptcy. If he is putting money into your account, then the bankruptcy court could consider those funds as funds available for you to repay more debt with. If you can hold off getting married until you have the bankruptcy finalized, then try to do so. If you just love the guy and need to get married, make sure that you keep your financials separate until you get through the bankruptcy. You should also visit with your bankruptcy attorney about any other pointers that are specific to your bankruptcy judge.
