Will my having been arrested at 17 show up on a background check for a government position?
I paid a $300 fine in court the next day. The position does a background check and asks if I have been arrested. Should I say no because it would have been dropped off my record? I was arressted for underage possession of alcohol. I want to say that it was more of a fine like a speeding ticket.
