What to do when there is a Will but our stepmom won’t show us?

Also, I cannot find out who dad’s lawyer was. What’s the next step in finding out where to look. Already checked with the city and nothing registered there yet either.

Obtain yourself probate counsel to commence an investigation and to file a petition in the probate court to administer the estate of your father. This should compel your step mom to produce the documents the probate awyer will need. The probate lawyer will also be able to find the attorney who prepare your father's will maybe.
