If there is no Workers' Comp available at your place of work, and the injury was as a result of something that you did or that happened to you at work, if you can prove your employer or the company was negligent so as to cause your injury, you can make a claim for a personal injury. In that case, you will need a personal injury attorney. My question is why doesn't your employer have Work Comp for the employees? I would want to know if Work Comp is required for the size company for which you work.
