The criminal charge of misusing someone's credit card is essentially a misdemeanor charge based upon fraud. Meaning, the unauthorized use of the credit card.

Given the chances of a heavy fine, jail, required courses and a criminal record, I suggest that you consult with a criminal defense attorney to represent you under the given situation.

If this is your first brush with the law, you most likely will receive no jail time but will be placed on probation. Good luck.
