What do I do next

I recently received a letter of probable cause from ERD in a discrimination complaint due to relating my criminal histroy to job requirements in state of WI. I then sent a letter to company to resolve issue but it was not certified so there is a slight chance they didn’t receive it, but I doubt it. I am still waiting for the ALJ hearing date …should I send another letter? get a lawyer and try to set up a mediation? or just wait for hearing?

It's always better to have legal representation on something like this from the start.  There are possible actions and strategies that can be implemented now that will best protect your interests.  At least set up an initial meeting with an attorney to talk this all over.  You can then decide how best to proceed after you consult with them.
