What do I do if a warrant has been issued for my arrest for not paying court fees and I cannot afford to pay them?
I was arrested for a DUI a few months ago. I went to court and was to pay about $1,000 in fines and do community service. I never heard from the community service contact I was given and was unable to make any payments towards the $1,000. Now a warrant has been issued for my arrest, they are telling me I need to pay $800 and turn myself in. I do not have $800, will I be in jail for longer?

You should contact the court and start a payment plan
