What can I do if my employer doesn’t seem to want to pay me money that’s owed?

My employer seems to be stalling or refusing to pay me money that’s provided as part of a reimbursement program when I belong to a gym. I belong to the gym and still haven’t received the money for the third quarter. If this continues what are my options?

If there was an agreement that the employer would pay you this money and/or it was part of your compensation, then the employer has to pay you; that's the good news. The bad news is that if the employer will not pay you, you would have to sue to recover the money. Not only could the lawsuit potentially cost significantly more than the amount of money you are seeking, if you use an attorney (or else you'd have to file, bring, etc. the lawsuit yourself), but it could obviously have significant repercussions on your employment.
