What can I do about a vehicle I bought 2 weeks ago “as is” that wasnever inspected but was represented to be dependable?
Car now needs $1500 repair. Then found out the mechanic admitted to never once inspecting the vehicle at all. Vehicle was sold to me from the dealership who knew nothing about the vehicle and that it had many problems. They lied and told me it was a dependable car. They refuse to do anything about the problems.

If you bought a vehicle from a dealership under the representation that it was fine but that the dealership's mechanic had never inspected the vehicle where it has significant problems, I would write a letter to the dealership setting forth its concealment to you where you seek to cancel the purchase. Keep a copy of the letter for future need.
If you do not get the response you want in the stated time, I would contact your state's bureau of automotive repairs to make a complaint against the mechanic and the dealership. This entity oversees consumer complaints about mechanical repairs.
Another option is for you to sue the mechanic and dealership in small claims court for the $1,500. The wise choice is to consult with an attorney who practices automotive law.
