What are the possible consequences for a minor on a second marijuana possession offense?
About 8 months ago, I was cited with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Then 3 days ago I received this same citation. What are the possible legal ramifications? I am 16 years old.

Being a minor and given the amount of the possession you are in a littel better shape than most, but maybe not much. What happened to the other charge? In Oregon, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana is punishable only by a fine of $500 up to a maximum of $1000. Possession of less than one ounce of marijuana is a violation, not a criminal conviction. However, if the possession is within 1000 feet of a school, the possession of less than one ounce is a Class C misdemeanor. Violations do not show up as convictions but I would speak with an attorney - the one that will represent you in the matter - as to how the court will deal with it given the other charge and the result from same.
